Top Woman 2018: Light Of The World
Through this teaching I want you to understand how you can manage and dominate your world. Let’s get into the Scriptures:
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”—John 8:12

Many people as they read the scriptures assume that “the light of life” and “the light of the world” mean the same thing. However, there’s a huge difference between the two.
The light of life gives understanding of who you are —It defines who you are and reveals your identity. If you don’t have the light of life you will suffer identity crisis.

The light of life helps you to know who you are but the question still remains: If you’ve to know who you are what, then, should you do? What steps should you take to rise to the top?

This is now where the “light of the world” becomes vitally important as it positions you to what you can do after understanding who you are. For instance you may be gifted and not know where to take your gift; you may be educated but fail to allocate the right company to get employment et cetera.

My prayer for you is that by the end of this teaching you get a full understanding of who you are and your world as well so that you may dominate thereby.

Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walks in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world —John 11:9

According to the Scripture above the light of the world locates a man to his day. In other words, once you miss the light of the world you for sure have missed your opportune time also known as the day of your life.
Without the light of the world, you’ll find yourself starting a business when there’s no market, you’ll pursue a career which is irrelevant to what God has for you, you will get a man who’s crooked et cetera. When the light comes, that ceases to be your story.

How then does one get the light of the world? The Bible says the entrance of God’s word brings that light and it gives understanding to the simple (Psalms 119:130).
Light separates you. Light gives you the understanding: it shows you the way—it separates any darkness in you.
At this point I want you to understand that it’s not that easy to find silver and gold in this world. It takes God to give you special eye so that you can access and locate where your gold and silver is. This is what the book of Job 28 from Verse 1 elucidates.
You see, many die and suffer in the world full of opportunities not because there are no answers but because their eyes are blinded to those answers.

Hagar in the Book of Genesis 21:14-19 is a typical example. Her child Ishmael could have died of thirsty yet there was a well right where she was. It took God to open her eyes to see that particular well and the child escaped death after partaking water from that very well.

Therefore, I pray that God should shed His light in your life right now; with his light, may you never miss your opportunities in this land loaded with opportunities. May you rise to the top and dominate in all spheres of life in the name of Jesus!!
