SEEDS OF VICTORY – Monday, 13th January 2020
Three Important Priorities With Apostle Joseph Ziba

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate [focus] therein day and night [. . .] for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Emphasis added). Joshua 1:8 KJV

One of the things that can help one to have a successful year is to know what to prioritize. You don’t necessary have to sit down and think what your priorities should be. That’s a big mistake for a child of God because priorities are defined from the discovery of your strength. Here is my personal counsel on what you should prioritize to have a successful and fulfilled life this year:

Your talent and/or gift. God didn’t make you useless– no man is non entity. There are certain talents and gifts that God endowed in you when He sent you to this world (1 Peter 4:10). Some of you are good at singing, playing musical instruments, dancing, designing, writing, and public speaking and so on. You must focus and grow those and the world will run to you.

Not all talents or gifts that God endowed in you will take you far at a particular time. You must know and discern at least one that you should focus on at a certain point.

Apostle Joseph Ziba

Apart from discovering your talents and gifts, you must take a step further of knowing your greatest strength. You have to ask yourself “Which one of these talents and gifts that God gave to me will make me soar to the greatest height at this particular moment in time?” Not all talents or gifts that God endowed in you will take you far at a particular time. You must know and discern at least one that you should focus on at a certain point. This is what I call “focusing on your greatest strength”.

Finally, you must concentrate on your vision. When you stand in front of a mirror, where and what do you see yourself going or becoming? Vision is sight and everything that falls within your sight is within your reach. You will never reach where you don’t see. Therefore, don’t prioritize anything that you don’t see (yourself going or becoming). You will waste your time, energy and other resources if you pursue something that you have never dreamt of.

PRAYER

Precious Father, I can’t remain stagnant in this life with the forcefulness and deeper Word that You’ve spoken to me today. I now know where exactly to focus my energies, time and other resources on in this year. With such wisdom I’ll have an easy ride in 2020. In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
