Transcendent Power of Corporate Prayer With Apostle Joseph Ziba

”For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them”. Matthew 18:20 King James Version (KJV)

Every moment the Saints come together; they always have time to call upon the name of the Lord. There is a reason why we must pray together of which some of us do not understand. Some tend to wonder what a short prayer by the church can do. You see, it is not about how long the prayer is but it is about the church praying for changes to be effected in the realm of the spirit. You can pray by yourself and God can hear you; but there is a higher effect when Saints gather to pray.

Every Christian has God’s presence in them. They received Jesus into their hearts when they believed and confessed Him as their personal Lord and Savior. In the opening Scripture above Jesus affirms it. By implication He says ”I am in you indeed. However, I am in a different way when you come together.” In other words, His presence increases when we come together in His name. And there is so much that God can do during such moments of His increased presence. There is power in corporate prayer and the church should be encouraged to pray together.

What changes would you like to see in your life, family, church and country at large? Call your brethren in Christ and pray in agreement and effect those changes you want. Always remember that the effective and fervent prayer of righteous men prevails much and you can change things together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for enlightening me to the power of corporate prayer. I will take advantage of it to effect the changes I want in my life, my family, my job, my career, ministry and country. I have fully understood the transcendent power of praying in agreement. Amen!
